Charles opened Self Insurance Services, LLC in January of 2004 as a scratch agency and provided Employee Benefits from small to large corporations. Charles began offering property and casualty insurance to his customers in 2010. Since that time, the agency has grown mega in volume throughout the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, and Tennessee. Charles strives to not only win with our pricing, but to go beyond and provide the absolute best in service. Charles has qualified for numerous company sponsored trips from exceeding production requirements, numerous awards, and recognition. Charles enjoys spending time with his children, coaching their sports teams, attending concerts, collegiate and professional sporting events, and travel.

Educational background includes Brownstown Central High School in Brownstown Indiana, Ivy Tech State College in Columbus, IN, and the American College of Financial Services.

Candice’s journey into the insurance industry was guided by a strong desire to help others and a natural inclination for engaging conversations. While her career didn’t begin in insurance, her commitment to helping people led her here. Holding her Property & Casualty, as well as Life & Health licenses since 2019, Candice has been dedicated to making insurance accessible and understandable. Her approach is grounded and relatable, prioritizing customer service above all else. When you collaborate with Candice, you’ll experience her knack for simply explaining coverages, ensuring you’re well-informed about what you invest in. Beyond her professional role, Candice was born and raised in Owensboro, Kentucky and moved to Evansville’s Northside in 2017. Candice is also a wife and mother of four, always open to discussing mom life, all things Peloton, latest book reads (fiction or nonfiction), and she is always happy to share a good laugh over funny memes. She enjoys traveling and attending as many concerts as possible! Her ultimate aspiration is to help protect her clients comprehensively against life’s expected and unexpected events.

Crystal is from Boonville, Indiana and graduated from Boonville High School and Indiana Business College. She began her career in Insurance in 2002 and joined Self Insurance in 2020. She enjoys talking with our clients and educating them on their coverages. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and being outdoors.

Donnie is a lifelong Evansville resident. Graduating from Evansville Reitz and attended Vincennes University and University of Southern Indiana. Donnie spent 17 years in the automotive sales industry in sales and management. Since then he has been proudly taking care of his customers as an insurance professional, offering auto, homeowners, among other insurance services with Self Insurance Services, LLC out of our downtown Evansville office at 225 Court Street Evansville, IN. 47708. Donnie and his wife of over 30 years have 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren. He enjoys spending valuable time with family.

Rita is an Evansville native and graduated from Mater Dei High School. She started her insurance career in 2010 at Torres Insurance as an Account Manager. Rita helps clients with servicing policies, making changes and providing certificates, etc. She has continued to develop relationships with clients at Self Insurance Services, LLC since 2019. She enjoys spending time with her family. Rita’s hobbies include making candles and volunteering with Another Chance for Animals, which she donates part of her sales from candles to their organization.

Joe is a Navy veteran with diverse professional experience combined with a B.S. in Management from University of Southern Indiana (USI).  Joe has been a member of the Evansville community for over 20 years and is passionate about helping people.  Joe began as an Insurance Agent in 2025 and looks forward to serving his community by offering the highest quality insurance products tailored to safeguard your individual and family needs.
